CURRENT COVID-19 RESPONSE from FRCC (see our plan)

Dear FRCC Family,

Feliciana Retreat & Conference Center is set apart for people of all ages to escape from your everyday routines and to experience God’s creation in a natural setting.  We look forward to meeting your needs both physically and spiritually in the days and months to come.

With that in mind, we are all trying to navigate the ever-changing scenario involving the coronavirus (COVID-19).  The FRCC management team is working to operate with faith and not fear. 2 Timothy 1:7For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

Our management staff is monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and is responding according to governmental guidelines. We are currently registered with Louisiana Open Safely and are working through the safe opening guidelines for the different phases of reopening.  Please see the Feliciana Retreat & Conference Center's Response to COVID-19 here.

Due to the uncertainty of the restrictions surrounding the pandemic, all scheduled events through the end of August were canceled including Camp Agape Light.  Also, the Illuman 2020 event decided not to reschedule until April of 2021.  Dates will be posted for this event as soon as it is rescheduled. We hope to be able to reopen on a limited basis very soon, but we want to make sure our guests and our employees are safe.  As with everything surrounding COVID-19 things change rapidly, so we will continue to monitor the events surrounding the pandemic and will make adjustments and decisions based on the recommendations of the State of Louisiana and the CDC.

Since things are up in the air due to the COVID-19 lockdowns, we have some leeway for group cancelations.  If FRCC has to cancel your event due to the COVID-19 restrictions, you will have the option to reschedule for later in the year or to have your deposit refunded.  If your group cancels for reasons other than the restrictions, we will have to determine refunds on a case by case basis.

Hopefully, we will be able to welcome our groups back soon.  And when we do, things will be ready for you.  We are currently making some much-needed repairs, trying to complete some remodeling projects, and cleaning up the grounds.

FRCC is committed to providing a safe, clean environment where people of all ages come together to experience Christ and build community. Please let us know how we can be in prayer for you and your families and churches.

In the Peace of Christ,

Doug and Lynne Morton

What you'll find at FRC

Rumor has it that we're one of the best places in America to see the night sky. We also think the view of the daytime sky is great too, especially when it's reflected in our lakes. Here's just some of our favorite photos, but better yet, come see us in person.

Our Location

We are located just 45 miles north of Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 200 acres of pine and hardwood forest.
